I have exceeded my fitness goal, losing over 25 pounds. I can now run 10K, swim 2 miles, and do literally hundreds of push, pull and leg exercises. Ultimately I believe I am wholeheartedly, holistically fit-body, mind and soul…a complete transformation that my friends and family recognize, Thank God for Ethan.

Ethan has been instrumental in helping me achieve my goals in a positive manner and to give me the tools to maintain what I have achieved. He did a great job of helping me learn new methods and techniques while always encouraging me to do my best. Whether it be a diet update, meal-plan example, or alternative exercises, he was willing to help at any moment to make sure that I had what I needed to reach my goal.

I am really pleased with the training I received from Liz. She definitely pushed me to get the results I wanted. Even when I was lacking motivation, she was there to really encourage me, and to give me a goal, even when my 30th birthday had passed and I felt my motivation waning. I found that Liz didn't let me give up. When I was struggling with something, she would let me take a rest, but she wouldn't give me an excuse to stop or to move on to the next thing. I knew that finishing out a set was expected of me, and that I wasn't going to be the only person who was disappointed if I didn't. Another motivating thing is that she was actively working toward a goal herself (WBFF Competition), and the sacrifices that she was making really made me want to do the same.

When I first came to Ethan Benda I came from being at sub-par college wrestling conditioning. My body-type being what it is I knew I would need to find somebody who could give me an extra edge over bigger, faster, and stronger athletes. I knew from experience anybody skilled in an understanding of mixed martial arts and overall body strength would be exactly what I personally needed. Finding Ethan Benda and his style of training meshed together all the random and sporadic information gleaned from articles, books and instructional DVD’s into one coherent system of becoming more athletic, dynamic and explosive. He adapted well to what I needed as a football player/wrestler and greatly increased my training ability. However, Ethan also has good awareness of the body in general and is able to train people who are not college athletes or mixed martial artists. It is because of his broad range of knowledge that I would recommend him to anyone who wants to get fit the right way. If you come to Ethan you definitely won’t receive a magic formula for losing weight or getting in shape, but you’ll receive the ability, knowledge and work ethic to get to where you want to go and stay there. Make no mistake; with dedication and good nutrition you will most assuredly achieve the goals you want if you train with Ethan.

Liz comes off so sweet and then she would totally kick my butt!! I love it!! She listened to what I had to say and what I wanted and then she encouraged me to even go a little farther than that! What I liked about the whole process is from day one through the end I had an eating plan. It told me what to eat and when to eat. I cooked all my food on Sunday and had no excuse but to eat it all week. It’s quick and easy. The workouts with Ethan were never the same. He always had something different for me.
The biggest “light bulb” was when we checked my body fat after only 3 weeks and I had lost 10 lbs of fat…down 3.5%. After that I could see the physical results and it pushed me even harder.
Ethan pushed me to places where I haven’t been in a long time. He helped me on the diet and answered all my questions throughout this whole process. At the end of the program, I came away with a friend.

I studied Mixed Martial Arts under Ethan Benda and during that time became stronger, healthier, and developed more cardio endurance than I had ever had in my life. Studying such an aggressive form of martial arts was intimidating at first, but Ethan was always able to find the perfect mix of pushing me to my limits and keeping things safe. In addition to MMA, Ethan and I worked one-on-one in the gym for nearly a year. His knowledge of plyometric training combined with traditional weight training helped me develop amazing core strength and balance. Ethan Benda is the best trainer I've worked with to date. He didn't rely on a training formula - he got to know what drives my personality and makes me WANT to do the exercises, not just grudgingly go through the motions.
